A member must escort guests at all times, unless the Member has made special arrangements in advance by calling the City Club. Members have the privilege of allowing 12 different guests to attend without the primary member being present during one 12-month period. The member or the member’s secretary must call ahead to make reservations and give the Member’s name and account number if a Guest is attending without the Member. Special arrangements can be made if a Member has a Guest who will be in town for several days and would like to dine at The City Club on multiple occassions during his or her stay in Dallas.
Members are encouraged to dress in a business suit, dress, or jacket and tie. However, during these days of more relaxed dress codes, “business casual” is acceptable.
An automatic 20% service charge is added to each food and beverage charge.
Members receive monthly statements showing all charges incurred through the closing of the month and the dues for the upcoming month. Accounts are due and payable upon receipt and finance charges are assesed on past due accounts. Members can help the Club maintain reasonably priced food and service by paying accounts in a timely manner.
Members and Guests enjoy he City Club for its service, food and atmosphere. To maintain an elegant dining experience, Members and Guests are encouraged to turn off cell phones and pagers or put them on “silent” while dining at The Club.
